Why data destruction?

Your computer holds a wealth of information. For the average person, that means that your banking information, social security number, medical information and so much more including your photos.

Simply deleting those files or reinstalling the computer to factory new, is not an effective means of getting rid of that data. The computer simply no longer knows where that information is. Writing over (or sanitizing) that information is the only effective means of actually removing data.

Physical destruction of the hard drive is also a good means to ensure that no one gets their hands on it.

For businesses, this is even more important as they may have medical or financial information from all of their clients and are legally required to protect that information.

That's where we come in.

We offer free data destruction when we recycle your old computer equipment with us.

Hard Drive Crushing

We will remove your hard drive and crush it on site free of charge when we recycle your computer.

This will destroy it's ability to operate, and bend the platters rendering them unusable.
